Double-sided foam-based adhesive tape, or so-called “mirror scotch”, is a double-sided sticky tape with base material made of close-meshed polyethylene foam with hot melt adhesive coating applied to both sides. Due to the fact that the tape base material has considerable thickness and special adhesive coating with high tenacity, the tape can be used on rough and uneven surfaces. In this case surface irregularities are corrected by means of base material deformation.
